Professional Career
Bowman was selected by the Cincinnati Royals with the 7th overall pick in the first round of the 1965 NBA Draft. He began his professional career with the Johnston C.J.'s and later played for the Chicago Bulls and Asbury Park Boardwalkers before joining the New York Knicks in 1967.Bowman spent three seasons with the Knicks, earning an NBA Championship ring as a reserve on the legendary 1969–70 team. He later played for the Buffalo Braves in the NBA and the Pittsburgh Condors in the ABA, finishing his career with the Wilkes-Barre Barons in 1973.
