Professional Career
Boswell was selected by Boston Celtics with the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 1975 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut on October 24, 1975, and played three seasons with the Celtics.During his rookie season, Boswell was part of the Celtics' NBA championship-winning team in 1976. After leaving Boston in 1978, Boswell played for the Denver Nuggets and later joined the Utah Jazz.
Following his time in the NBA, Boswell played internationally for Squibb Cantù in Italy during the 1980-81 season, where he won both the Italian League championship and the FIBA Saporta Cup. He returned to the NBA for one more season with the Utah Jazz in 1983-84 before concluding his professional career with the Wisconsin Flyers of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) in 1984-85.
