Carlos Boozer is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He is a two-time NBA All-Star and he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and the Los Angeles Lakers. After the NBA, he also played in China for the Guangdong Southern Tigers.

Carlos Austin Boozer Jr. was born in Aschaffenburg, West Germany on November 20, 1981. He holds American citizenship and was born in a military base in Germany but grew up In Juneau, Alaska. He stands 206 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 117 kg.He was married to Cece Boozer for six years and they have three kids together. They divorced in 2009 and he has since married Aneshka Smith. His younger brother Charles Boozer played college basketball. In 2020, he finished his degree at Duke University. He officially graduated in 2022.
High School and College Career
He attended the Juneau-Douglas High School in Alaska where he received All-American honors. In 1999, he was named to the First-Team Parade All-American.After high school, he began attending Duke in 1999. He received All-ACC honors and he also helped lead his team to become NCAA Champions. He was named to the First-team All-ACC and was named the ACC Tournament MVP.
Professional Career
Boozer joined the NBA in 2002 and was selected during the second round of the draft, picked 35th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He would play with the Cavaliers through to 2004. In 2003, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.In 2004, he was traded to the Utah Jazz. While with the Jazz, he was named an NBA All-Star twice, once in 2007 and again in 2008. He was also named to the 2008 All-NBA Third Team.
In 2010, Boozer signed to play with the Chicago Bulls, and in 2014, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, playing his last season in the NBA with the team. Boozer went to China after his NBA career and played in Guangdong for a season before finally retiring.
