High School and College Career
Baldwin attended Hamilton High School in Sussex, Wisconsin. He was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2021 class, ranked as high as No. 4 nationally. As a junior in 2019-20, he was named Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year.Baldwin committed to play college basketball for his father Patrick Baldwin Sr. at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, becoming the highest-ranked recruit to ever sign with a Horizon League program.
In 2021, he played in the Jordan Brand Classic and he was also named a McDonald’s All-American.
Professional Career
Baldwin was selected 28th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Draft. He split his rookie season between the Warriors and their NBA G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors.In February 2023, Baldwin was traded to the Washington Wizards. He has split time between the Wizards and their G League team, the Capital City Go-Go.
In 2024, his contract was converted to a standard one and he still plays for Washington.
International Career
Baldwin won a gold medal with the United States at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Latvia. He averaged 7.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.Career Highlights
