Keon Johnson is a professional basketball player from the United States of America. He plays in the National Basketball Association, drafted in 2021 by the New York Knicks. In addition, he also plays in the NBA G League. He currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets.

Christopher Keon Johnson was born on March 10, 2002, in Shelbyville, Tennessee in the United States of America. He stands 196 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 84 kg. He is right-handed and plays a Shooting Guard.

His mother, Conswella Sparrow Johnson was twice named Class AAA Tennessee Miss Basketball. She also played college basketball for Auburn University.

High School and College Career

He attended The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Later, he committed to play college basketball for the University of Tennessee and was there from 2020 to 2021.

In 2018 and 2019, he was named Tennessee Mr. Basketball. Then in 2021, he was named to the SEC-All-Freshman Team.

Professional Career

Johnson turned pro in 2021. He was selected in the 1st round, 21st overall of the 2021 NBA Draft, picked by the New York Knicks. He also played in the NBA G League for the Agua Caliente Clippers.

From 2022 to 2023, he played for the Portland Trail Blazers then in 2023, he signed a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets that also allowed him to play for the Long Island Nets in the G League.

As of 2024, he still plays for both teams.
