Ibou Dianko Badji was born on October 13, 2002, in Dakar, Senegal. He stands 216 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 108 kg. He shoots right-handed and plays Center.

By the time he turned 15, he was already 216 cm or 7 feet and 1 inch tall with a wingspan of 229 cm or 7 feet and 6 inches.

High School and Early Career

As a teen, he trained with the NBA Academy Africa in Saly, Senegal. He became one of the Academy’s best prospects.

He started his early professional career, by signing with FC Barcelona B. He played for them from 2019 to 2021. Then from 2021 to 2022, he was with Forca Lleida CE.

Badji declared for the 2022 NBA Draft but went undrafted.

Professional Career

After going undrafted, he signed with Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G League. Then in 2023, he signed a two-way contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.

This allowed him to play for the G League team, the Rip City Remix. As of 2024, he still plays for both teams.
