Mensah went undrafted during the 2023 NBA Draft. He later joined the Charlotte Hornets during the 2023 NBA Summer League. He signed with the Hornets for a short time but they waived him before the start of the season.He would go on to sign with the Hornets’ NBA G League associate team, the Greensboro Swarm. In December 2023, he signed a two-way contract with the Hornets and he made his NBA debut that same month.
