Later, he committed to play for the University of California, Los Angeles, and was there from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, he was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team.

Professional Career

Bailey turned pro in 2023 when he was drafted into the league by the Charlotte Hornets. He was chosen in the second round.

He made his NBA debut on November 12, 2023, in a game against the New York Knicks.
