High School and College Career
Strawther attended Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada. Later, he committed to play college basketball for Gonzaga University and was there from 2020 to 2023.
In 2023, he was named to the First-team All-WCC.
Professional Career
Strawther turned pro in 2023 and was a 1st round selection during the 2023 NBA Draft, picked by the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers then traded him to the Denver Nuggets.
