Keith Van Horn is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He played for the New Jersey Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Dallas Mavericks.

Keith Adam Van Horn was born on October 23, 1975, in Fullerton, California in the United States of America. He stands 208 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 111 kg. He shoots right-handed and he was a power forward and a small forward.He became the first white player on the cover of SLAM Magazine. Aside from basketball, he also enjoys fly fishing.
High School and College Career
He attended Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, California. Later, he committed to play college basketball for the University of Utah and was there from 1993 to 1997.From 1994 to 1997, he was named to the First-team All-WAC. He was also the WAC Player of the Year from 1995 to 1997. The Utah team retired Jersey Number 44 in his honor.
Professional Career
Van Horn turned pro in 1997, selected 2nd overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Draft. He ended up signing with the New Jersey Nets and played with them from 1997 to 2002.In his first year with the team, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
From 2002 to 2003, he played for the 76ers. Then from 2004 to 2005, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks. Before he retired in 2006, he played for the Dallas Mavericks from 2005 to 2006.
