He was also named to the Third-team All-American – AP, NABC, and Second-team All-American – UPI.
Professional Career
McKey turned pro in 1987, selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics. In 1988, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.From 1993 to 2001, he played for the Indiana Pacers. In that time, he was also named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1995 and 1996. In 2002, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers before he retired.
