Olivier-Maxence Prosper was born on July 3, 2002, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He stands 203 cm tall and weighs 104 kg. He plays as a power forward.

Prosper comes from a basketball family. His parents both played college basketball at Concordia University, and his sister Cassandre Prosper plays for Notre Dame.

High School and College Career

Prosper attended Lake Forest Academy in Illinois before transferring to the NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico City to finish his high school career.

He began his college career at Clemson University, where he averaged 2.5 points per game as a freshman. Prosper then transferred to Marquette University, where he significantly improved his performance.

Professional Career

Prosper was selected 24th overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2023 NBA Draft, but his draft rights were immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

He signed with the Mavericks in July 2023. From 2023 to 2024, he also played for the NBA G League team, the Texas Legends. His contract was converted to a standard one in 2024.

In addition to his professional career, he also played for Canada in the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in 2021 where the team won the Bronze.
