High School and College Career
He attended Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. Later, he committed to play college basketball for Duke University and he was there from 2022 to 2023.
In 2022, he was named Mr. Basketball USA and the Naismith Memorial Player of the Year. He also played in that year’s Jordan Brand Classic and the Nike Hoop Summit.
Professional Career
He turned pro in 2023 and was a 1st round - 22nd overall pick, selected by the Brooklyn Nets. He signed with the Nets in 2023 and from 2023 to 2024, he also played for their NBA G League affiliate team, the Long Island Nets.
