Clowney turned pro in 2023 and was selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the 1st round of the 2023 NBA Draft.
In November 2023, he was assigned to play for the Nets’ NBA G League affiliate team, the Long Island Nets. He was called back to the main team in 2024.
