Professional Career

He was drafted into the NBA in 1973 and was selected 31st overall in the 2nd round by the Los Angeles Lakers. Instead of signing with the Lakers, he chose to play in the American Basketball Association and played for the New York Nets, Carolina Cougars, and the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1972 to 1979. At that time, he was named to the 1973 ABA All-Rookie Team.

In 1979, he started playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and he was part of the team that won the 1980 NBA Championship. Bunny played for the Washington Bullets in the 1981 to 1982 season. Before he retired in 1983, he played for Firenze.
