Both his parents served in the United States Army. Morgan grew up playing golf, has he grew taller, he switched his focus to playing basketball instead.
High School and College Career
He played high school basketball for his hometown school, Waynesville High School. He received several college offers including those from Creighton University and Vanderbilt University. He chose to commit to Indiana University.
He stayed with Indiana from 2015 to 2019. In 2018, he was named to the Second-team All-Big Ten and in 2019 to the Third-team All-Big Ten.
Professional Career
Morgan went undrafted during the 2019 NBA Draft. He was later added to the NBA G League roster of the Salt Lake City Stars. In 2019, he signed a two-way contract with Utah Jazz that would allow him to play with the Stars.
In September 2021, he signed with the Boston Celtics but was waived and he signed with the Maine Celtics. Later, he signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors. He was re-acquired by the Maine and Boston Celtics in January 2022. He was traded to the Indiana Pacers in July 2022. The Pacers later waived him.
