High School and College Career

He attended a number of high schools and academies before going to college. These include Lutheran Northwest High School in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Old Redford Academy in Detroit, SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio and Waterford Mott High School in Waterford, Michigan.

Later, he committed to play college basketball for the University of Kentucky and was there from 2020 to 2021.

In 2021, he was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team and the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Professional Career

Jackson turned pro in 2021 when he was selected in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers.

They later traded him to the Indiana Pacers who initially signed him to a two-way contract that also had him play for their NBA G League affiliate team, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

As of 2024, he still plays for the Pacers.
