Oshae Brissett is a professional basketball player from Canada. He plays in the National Basketball Association and the NBA G League. In 2021, he was named to the All-NBA G League Second Team. As of 2023, he plays for the Boston Celtics.

Oshae Jahve Brissett was born on June 20, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He stands 201 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 95 kg. He is right-handed and he is a Small Forward and a Power Forward.

Brissett spent his toddler years in Toronto, Canada, before moving to Mississauga, a small township located in Toronto.

When he was young, he already found his interest in basketball, and that’s why he took the chance to move to Henderson, Nevada to further his basketball skills.

High School and College Career

He attended St. Aloysius Gonzaga High School in Mississauga. Later, he moved to Nevada to attend the Findlay Preparatory.

After schooling at Findlay Prep, he went back to Canada, and was admitted to the Athlete Institute, and became the team captain of the school basketball team.

Brissett received offers from colleges in USC, Memphis, and Oregon, but he declared to attend Syracuse University. His performance skyrocketed to 14.9 points with 8.8 rebounds per game in his freshman year.

Due to his impressive basketball abilities, speculations of him entering the 2018 NBA Draft spread like wildfire. However, he decided to pursue his sophomore year at Syracuse. After his second season with Syracuse, he declared that he would be joining the NBA Draft. Unfortunately, he went undrafted.

Professional Career

Despite going undrafted, he would later sign a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors and their NBA G League affiliate team, the Raptors 905.

In 2021, he was named to the All-NBA G League Second Team. That year, he also signed with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. From 2021 to 2023, he played for the Indiana Pacers. In 2023, he signed to play for the Boston Celtics.
