He attended Kalamazoo Central High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2017, he was named Michigan Mr. Basketball and in 2017, he started playing college basketball for the University of Michigan. He was there from 2017-2021.
In 2021, he was named to the Second-team All-Big Ten.
Professional Career
In 2021, he was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft and was the 42nd overall pick by the Detroit Pistons.
He signed with the team in the same year and for the 2021-2022 season, he also played for their NBA G League team, the Motor City Cruise.
