High School and College Career
Coffey attended Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In 2016, he played in the Jordan Brand Classic and he was also named that year’s Minnesota Mr. Basketball.
Professional Career
Coffey went undrafted during the 2019 NBA Draft. Later, he signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. The contract also allowed him to play for the Clippers NBA G League affiliate team, the Agua Caliente Clippers.
In 2022, his contract was converted to a regular one. This time, it was for a three-year contract that was reportedly worth US$11 million.
