He had initially signed to play for the University of Kentucky but later decided to declare for the NBA instead.
Professional Career
Sharpe turned pro in 2022. He was selected in the 1st round, 7th overall of the 2022 NBA Draft, picked by the Portland Trail Blazers.
As of 2024, he still plays for Portland.
In addition to his NBA career, he also represents Canada internationally. In 2019, he played in the FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship in Brazil for the Canadian Basketball Team, winning silver.
