After college, he played in the Reese’s College All-Star Game. He also played in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. His performances in these gained him an invite to play in the NBA Draft Combine.
He was selected by the Phoenix Suns during the 2018 NBA Draft. He joined them for the Summer League. King went on to sign a two-way contract with them that allowed him to play in the NBA G League.
From 2019 to 2021, he played internationally before coming back to the US and signing a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks and the Agua Caliente Clippers.
