DeAndre' Bembry is a former American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association for six seasons. He last played for the Milwaukee Bucks.

DeAndre' Pierre' Bembry was born on July 4, 1994, in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America. He stands 196 cm tall and his playing weight was listed at 95 kg. Bembry played primarily as a small forward and shooting guard.

Bembry comes from a basketball family. He is the nephew of former NBA player Gary Springer and the cousin of current NBA player Jaden Springer.

High School and College Career

He attended the Rocky River High School in North Carolina. He later transferred to the St. Patrick High School in New Jersey. He committed to play for St Joseph’s University and he was instrumental in helping them to reach an NCAA tournament, their first since 2008.

While in college, he was named the 2016 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year. He was also an AP Honorable Mention All-American.

Professional Career

He chose to forgo his remaining years of college in order to play for the NBA. He was drafted into the league by the Atlanta Hawks during the 2016 NBA Draft. He debuted with the Hawks in October 2016.

While with the Hawks, he also played for the Salt Lake City Stars in the then-NBA D-League. From 2020 to 2021, he played for the Toronto Raptors. In 2021 and 2022, he was signed to play with the Brooklyn Nets. In February 2022, he was signed by the Milwaukee Bucks.

His NBA career was cut short due to a knee injury suffered while playing for the Bucks in March 2022.
