Francis Stanley Kaminsky III was born on April 4, 1993, in Winfield, Illinois in the United States of America. He stands 213 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 109 kg. He is right-handed and he is a center and a power forward.

In 2023, he married Ashley Brewer.

High School and College Career

He attended Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois. Later, he committed to play college basketball for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was there from 2011 to 2015.

In 2015, he was named the National College Player of the Year. Also in 2015, he was named the Big Ten Player of the Year, and he was given the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award.

Professional Career

Kaminsky turned pro in 2015. He was the 9th overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, selected by the Charlotte Hornets. He played for the Hornets from 2015 to 2019.

In 2019, he started playing for the Phoenix Suns. Then from 2022 to 2023, he played for the Atlanta Hawks. In 2023, he signed for a short time with the Houston Rockets but he was released from his contract.

That same year, he went to Serbia and started playing for Partizan Belgrade.
