Josh Hart is a professional basketball player from the United States of America. He plays in the National Basketball Association for the New York Knicks. He also used to play for the Portland Trail Blazers, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

High School and College Career

He attended Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Later, he attended the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. He would also go on to commit to play for Villanova University and was there from 2013 to 2017.

In 2016, he helped Villanova win the NCAA Championships. In 2017, he was also named the Big East Player of the Year and the Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year. That year, he was also awarded the Julius Erving Award.

Professional Career

Hart turned pro in 2017. He was selected in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft, selected by the Utah Jazz. Later, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He played for the Lakers from 2017 to 2019. In 2017, he was also assigned to play for the South Bay Lakers in the NBA G League.

In 2019, he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans, and in 2022, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers. Then in 2023, he signed with the New York Knicks.
