High School and College Career
He attended Aiken High School. When he was a senior, he recorded 22.3 points with 6 assists and was hailed the Cincinnati Enquirer Division IV Player of the Year.Jones started as a redshirt freshman for the Radford University men’s basketball team. There, he was named the Big Conference Freshman of the Year.
He was also chosen as the Big South Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year in 2020. When he was set to graduate, he transferred to the University of Louisville to play his final season.
In April 2021, he announced that he would be joining the 2021 NBA Draft, however, he went undrafted.
Professional Career
After going undrafted, he decided to play for the Dallas Mavericks and play for the NBA Summer League. Later, he signed with the Denver Nuggets for a short time before signing with the NBA G League team, the Windy City Bulls.In 2022, he was called up to play for the Chicago Bulls, signing a two-way contract so he could still play for Windy City. In 2023, he was named the NBA G League MVP. He was also the NBA G League Top Scorer.
In 2023, he went over to the Chinese Basketball Association to play for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls.
