Facundo Campazzo is a professional basketball player from Argentina. He is a member of the Spanish Real Madrid basketball club and also of the senior Argentina National Basketball team. As of the 2021-2022 season, he plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Throughout his career, he has acquired a number of awards and accolades including being named the Argentine League Finals MVP, twice.

Nicknamed, Facu, Campazzo was born Facundo Campazzo on March 23, 1991 in Cordoba, Argentina. He plays point guard and he stands 178 cm tall and his last listed weight is 88 kilograms. He is a right-handed player and he shoots with his right hand.

He has been playing basketball professionally since 2008. In 2013, he went undrafted in the NBA.

Professional Career

He started his professional career playing for the Argentine League team Penarol. He stayed with Penarol from 2008 to 2014. With his help, the club won the Argentine League four times. He was also named the Argentine Cup MVP in 2010.

After his time with Penarol, he moved to play in the Spanish League for Real Madrid. He was with them from 2014 to 2020. While with the club, he was named the EuroLeague MVP for the Month of April 2019.

In November 2020, the Denver Nuggets of the NBA signed Campazzo to a multi-year contract.

National Team

In addition to his professional career, Campazzo has also played in the Argentinian National teams. He was a part of the Junior National team that played and won a gold medal at the 2007 FIBA South America Under-16 Championships.

He is also a part of the Senior National Basketball Team. He has helped them win silver and gold medals at a number of FIBA events. He also represented his country at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
