High School and College Career
Walker attended Reading Senior High School in Reading, Pennsylvania. Later, he committed to play college basketball for the University of Miami (Florida) and he was there from 2017 to 2018.
In 2017, he was named Mr. Pennsylvania Basketball. That year, he was also named a McDonald’s All-American. In 2018, he was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
Professional Career
Walker turned pro in 2018 and was the 18th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. From 2018 to 2022, he played for the Spurs. From 2018 to 2019, he also played for the Spurs’ NBA G League affiliate team, the Austin Spurs.
From 2022 to 2023, he played for the Los Angeles Lakers. Then in 2023, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets.
