Aleksej Pokuševski is a Serbian basketball player who plays in the National Basketball Association for the Charlotte Hornets. He has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Early Career
From his hometown, he learned to play youth basketball for KK NS Stars and Vojvodina and became the youngest EuroLeague player to debut in the senior team in Olympiacos. He was 13 at the time. He played for Olympiacos from 2019 to 2020. At that time, he was also loaned to Olympiacos B.

NBA Career
During the 2020 NBA Draft, he was chosen in the first round as the 17th overall pick of the draft, selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He signed a two-way contract for the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020, which allowed him to play for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League. In 2023, his contract was converted to a standard one.
In 2024, he signed with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA and the Greensboro Swarm in the G League.
National Team
In addition to his professional career, Pokusevski has been selected to become their country’s representative for the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup, where he recorded 7.7 points with 8.3 rebounds per game.
He also competed in the 2019 FIBA Under-18 European Championship and has an average of 10.0 points with 7.2 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game.
