Mike Muscala is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has played with different NBA teams and the NBA G League since he was drafted in 2013.

High School and College Career
Muscala grew up in Minnesota and attended Roseville Area High School in Roseville, Minnesota.Muscala played four seasons of college basketball for Bucknell University from 2009 to 2013. He was named the Patriot League Player of the Year in 2011 and 2013.
Bucknell also later retired Jersey Number 31 in his honor.
Professional Career
Muscala was selected by the Dallas Mavericks as the 44th overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2013 NBA Draft. He began his professional career in Spain with Obradoiro CAB for the 2013-14 season.In 2014, Muscala signed with the Atlanta Hawks. He spent his first four NBA seasons with the Hawks from 2014 to 2018, also having NBA G League stints with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Erie BayHawks.
Muscala was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2018. He then had brief stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019.
From 2019 to 2023, Muscala played for the Thunder. He set career highs in scoring in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
In 2023, Muscala was traded to the Boston Celtics. He helped the Celtics reach the Eastern Conference Finals.
In June 2023, Muscala was traded to the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal. He played for the Wizards until January 2024, when he was traded to the Detroit Pistons.
After being bought out by the Pistons, Muscala re-signed with the Thunder in March 2024. As of the end of the 2023-24 season, he remains with Oklahoma City.
