Goga Bitadze

Goga Bitadze is a professional basketball player from Georgia. He plays in the National Basketball Association for the Orlando Magic. He also used to play for the Indiana Pacers and their NBA G League team, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Prior to his NBA career, he also played in Europe for Vita, Tbilisi, Mega Smederevo, and Budućnost.

Goga Bitadze (გოგა ბითაძე) was born on July 20, 1999, in Sagarejo, Georgia. He stands 211 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 113 kg. He is a right-handed player as well as a Center.

He started playing basketball when he was six years old. His father is a professional basketball player as well. Growing up, he was a fan of Zaza Pachulia, Tornike Shengelia, Pau Gasol, and Shaquille O'Neal.

Early Professional Career

He started his professional career playing for Vita Tbilisi in 2015. Later, he went to Serbia to play for KK Mega Basket. In his time with Mega, he was loaded to Smederevo and Budućnost.

In 2019, he was named a EuroLeague Rising Star. He was also named the BLS Most Valuable Player and the ABA League MVP.

NBA Career

He was a first-round pick during the 2019 NBA Draft, selected by the Indiana Pacers. He played for the Pacers from 2019 to 2023. In that time, he also played for their NBA G League affiliate team, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Then in 2023, he signed with the Orlando Magic.
