Quincy Acy
Quincy Jyrome Acy is a professional basketball player from the United States. He played at Baylor University College Basketball and attended John Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas. In 2007-08, he was a senior with an average of 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per play. In 2008, Acy was a 4-star prospect by Rivals.com, rated as Power Advance No. 25 and Player No. 84.
In 2008–2009, he won Big 12 All-Freshman awards from the media as a newsman at Baylor, and on November 24, 2008, he was honored as Big 12 Co-Rookie of the Week. He scored sixth and rebounded fourth, while Bears were led in blocked goals. He recorded Big 12 and Baylor with twenty consecutive field objectives. He has achieved his first 20 field goals from November 15 to November 24.
The Toronto Raptors picked Acy with a 37th overall selection in the NBA draft for 2012 on June 29, 2011. A multi-year deal with the Raptors was signed on July 16, 2012. In 2012–2013 he played with sparing strength for Toronto and won two N Bakersfield Jam assignments to the NBA Development League. In its 100–83 defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks on April 6, 2013, Acy scored 13 points high in the season.
Acy signed the Dallas Mavericks on July 20, 2016, for his home club. On November 18, 2016, after six games, the Mavericks waived him. On November 28, 2016, he was bought by the NBA Development League Los Angeles D-Fenders and then traded to the Mavericks D-League affiliate, the Texas Legends. On 1.12.2016, in a 121-106 victory over the Greensboro Swarm, he made his debut for the Legends, scoring in 17-minute starter 16 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks. He averaged 17.3, 8.1 rebounds, 1.2 helps, 1.6 stolen, and 2.1 blocks in 31.9 minutes in 12 games for the Legends.
Acy settled on the Shenzhen Leopards agreement on March 15, 2019. The season Acy, to replace Dwight Buycks, was registered on March 24, 2019. Dwight Buycks replaced Acy on March 26, 2019, after a game for Shenzhen. Acy reached a one-year agreement on the option to sign another one with Maccabi Tel Aviv from the Israeli Premier League and the EuroLeague on July 31, 2019. ACE scored a new career-high 22-point on November 16, 2019, with a 9-of-12 shot in the field and a 94-57 victory over Maccabi Ashdod, with six rebounds and six dunks.
