Tiffany Kiara Hayes was born and raised in a small town in Fort Polk, Louisiana. When she was in high school, she attended the Winter Haven High School in Florida and led the team to win the state championship, as she was the leading scorer. She also assisted the team to reach the 2007 National Championship.
She was admitted to the University of Connecticut and joined the Huskies, which is her dream team since she was little. She was also invited to play for the University Games Team for the USA Women’s World when she was only a freshman. This only earned her and the team to win the gold medal in Serbia.

Career
Hayes joined the WNBA Draft and was selected 2nd overall by the Atlanta Dream. During her rookie season, she joined 34 games with an average of 8.6 points per game. She was also included in the WNBA All-Rookie team. In 2013, they have advanced to the Finals of WNBA, however, they were defeated by the Minnesota Lynx.
Aside from WNBA, Hayes was also involved in the US Women’s National Basketball team and a match exhibition against China. She was also included in the 2015 European Games and represented Azerbaijan.
