Chris Boucher is a former professional basketball player from the United States of America. He is a two-time NBA Champion, winning in 2018 and again in 2019 while he was with the Toronto Raptors.

Christopher Boucher was born on January 11, 1993, in Castries, Saint Lucia. He stands 206 cm tall and his weight is listed at 91 kg. Boucher is a right-handed power forward and center.Boucher moved with his mother Mary MacVane to Montreal, Canada when he was five months old to live with his Canadian father Jean-Guy Boucher. However, his parents split up when he was young and Boucher had a poor relationship with his father.
He grew up playing soccer and ice hockey while living in poverty in the Montréal-Nord neighborhood. Boucher dropped out of high school at age 16 and worked as a cook and dishwasher in a restaurant.
High School and College Career
He attended and played high school basketball for Damase Boulanger in Alma, Quebec.Boucher played one season at New Mexico Junior College. He then transferred to Northwest College in Wyoming, where he was named NJCAA Player of the Year.
In 2015, Boucher transferred to the University of Oregon.
As a senior in 2016-17, Boucher was named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team after leading the conference with 2.6 blocks per game.
However, he tore his ACL in the Pac-12 tournament semifinals, ending his college career.
Professional Career
Boucher went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft due to his ACL injury.Later, he signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors and made his NBA debut in March 2018. Boucher was part of the Warriors' 2018 championship team, winning him his first NBA Championship.
In July 2018, Boucher signed with the Toronto Raptors, a deal that also allowed him to play in the NBA G League for the Raptors 905. In 2019, he was named NBA G League MVP and the NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year with the Raptors 905, becoming the first player to win both awards in the same season.
Boucher became a regular part of the Raptors' rotation in the 2019-20 season. In 2019, he won the NBA Championships again, this time with the Raptors.
In 2022, Boucher re-signed with Toronto on a three-year, $35 million contract. As of 2024, he still plays for the Raptors.
