Damian Lillard is a professional basketball player from the United States of America. He plays in the National Basketball Association for the Milwaukee Bucks. He has also spent a big chunk of his career for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Lillard has been named NBA All-Star eight times in his career. In 2024, he was named the NBA All-Star Game MVP. He is also an Olympic Gold Medalist, winning it at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

He is cousins with Keljin Blevins. In addition to his basketball career, he is also a hip-hop artist named Don DOLLA, which stands for Different On Levels the Lord Allows.
In 2018, he welcomed his first child – Damian Lillard Jr. He also has twin girls.
High School and College Career
He attended a number of high schools including Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, California, St. Joseph Notre Dame in Alameda, California, and Oakland Senior High School in California.
Later, he committed to play college basketball for Weber State University. He was there from 2008 to 2012.
Professional Career
He was selected in the 1st round, 6th overall of the 2012 NBA Draft, picked by the Portland Trail Blazers. He spent the majority of his professional career with Portland, playing for them from 2012 to 2023.
In 2013, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year and to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In 2014, he was named an NBA All-Star for the first time in his career. He would go on to be named an All-Star seven more times, most recently in 2024.
In 2020, he represented the United States at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
In 2021, he was named the NBA Teammate of the Year. He was also later named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
In September 2023, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. He would be named an NBA All-Star for the 7th and an 8th in his career while with the Bucks.
In 2024, he was named the NBA All-Star Game MVP.
