Kiesha's journey began at Woodward Academy, where she distinguished herself as the 1996 National Prep Player of the Year. Her college career at the University of Georgia was marked by promise, but injuries plagued her time on the court. After tearing her ACL in 1996, she encountered another setback with a similar injury in 1997, limiting her appearances. Ultimately, she made history as the first fifth-year player for the Bulldogs, showcasing her resilience and dedication.WNBA Career
Kiesha entered the WNBA when she was signed by the Los Angeles Sparks on April 30, 2001. Unfortunately, her stint with the Sparks was short-lived as she was waived just a few weeks later. However, her career took a turn for the better when she joined the Washington Mystics on April 25, 2002. Over three seasons with the Mystics, Kiesha displayed her talent and tenacity on the court.Her next chapter led her to the Houston Comets, where she signed on July 12, 2005. Following the expansion draft, she found herself with the Chicago Sky before being signed by the New York Liberty on February 27, 2006. In a fitting return to where it all began, Kiesha eventually made her way back to the Los Angeles Sparks, completing a full circle in her professional journey.
