After the end of the NBA finals the expansion draft period of the teams have already begun. Luckily the Chicago Bulls have the upper hand to make its decision in the coming week. The Bulls have been facing an issue on whether to select Michael Beasley from the Kansas State or Derrick Rose from the Memphis.
In the earlier week indications of Beasley visiting Miami Heat for the number 2 draft pick was seen. As per Rose’s thinking, he feels confident and happy to move to the Bulls. Rose averaged 14.9 points and 4.7 assists in which he led the Memphis to a Division I record of 38 victories and performed well during the NCAA tournament. He was in complete control in the championship game and played a vital role in their victory.
Rose reported at a conference when he was questioned about his move to the Bulls. He replied “I would love to play with the Bulls, It’s a dream come true.” Rose added “that he knows Beasley is the best player in the local division but I think I am a leader. And I think I will push the players and everyone else to have that attitude.”
Rose concluded by saying “I’ll be hurt a little bit if Beasley does not make it, but my goal is to be playing in the NBA.”
