Chris Bosh is one of the most overrated players in the NBA, and is certainly not worth the max contract of over $100 million for six seasons that the Miami Heat gave him this summer.
Bosh, who has teamed up with LeBron James and Dwayne Wade in Miami to form a super threesome, is no doubt a very good, but he is not an elite player.
As a Toronto Raptors player since his rookie season, Bosh was the main man. The primary offensive option, and a guy who got repeated touches on offense each possession. But in Miami, Bosh has not seen a lot of the ball with Wade and Lebron around him.
So far he has yet to adjust, and his stats have taken a severe decrease. His point decrease is understandable playing with more better players, but his rebound averages should be much higher, and they are not.
Bosh is averaging just under six rebounds per game, and that is awful for him. He is taking the longest to adjust to the style of the Heat, but for a guy many consider an elite player, his time to figure the offense out is limited.
Miami needs him to be a great player to do damage in the 2011 NBA playoffs.
