Shaquille O’Neal’s move to the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Phoenix Suns meant that o’Neal will now team up with one of the biggest stars in the NBA, LeBron James. According to former Suns teammate, Steve Nash, Shaquille O’Neal will have no problems in adjusting to his new team and teammate. >
The 37-year old will be looking to hold up the center position and help LeBron gain his first NBA Championships. “O’Neal is still a great player, but LeBron is going to be the focal point,” Nash said. “I think he’s happy with that. At the same time, he’ll get a lot of opportunities to be in the spotlight, and he’s great at it.”
“I think he realizes that he’s not in the prime of his career, so to speak,” two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash told media on Tuesday.
Nash, on Amare Stoudemire, said that he is quite optimistic that Stoudemire will stay with the Suns despite rumours. “I don’t see him leaving,” Nash said. “I just see him having a phenomenal career and being in Phoenix a long time.”
Nash just extended his contract with the Suns by two more years.
