Knicks Need More Talent to Impress Lebron

In the NBA, you cannot win with just 1, 2, or even 3 star players.

In the NBA, you cannot win with just 1, 2, or even 3 star players. You need a solid supporting cast, with each man performing his role to the best of his ability. One example is the 2008 Boston Celtics.

After acquiring all stars Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to team with Paul Pierce, the question became, how will players 4-15 make a difference? kevin garnett

A couple months after the season began, that question had answers. Eddie House became a backup point guard who could shoot very well from the three point line. Leon Powe and Glen Davis were tough inside players who got rebounds. Kendrick Perkins became a defensive force blocking shots and rebounding, and Rajon Rondo became one of the league’s best point guards.

While the New York Knicks anxiously await the start of the summer of 2010, they must know they need a team of quality players to win. Two superstars, such as Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and Amare Stoudemire will not be enough to win.

They also cannot pay two people maximum contract money because they will not have enough left over for the rest of the starting lineup and the bench.

The Knicks have some good young players to entice Lebron and others to sign with them. Forward David Lee is a double-double machine, and guard Wilson Chandler is an exciting young player who can score. lebron james

Also, Jordan Hill, the Knicks first round draft choice of 2009, is sure to be a solid player.

The Knicks must realize that an all around roster wins championships like the 2008 Celtics and the 2009 Lakers.
