Can LeBron James be Stopped?

He is a man on a mission.

He is a man on a mission. LeBron James is having his best season ever, averaging 28.5 points per game, hitting 49-percent of his shots from the floor and causing three turnovers per game. The other night against the New York Knicks he scored 52 points while dishing off 11 assists. lebron james

With a 39- 9 mark, the Cleveland Cavaliers have the second-best record in the NBA East and the third-best in the league. Only the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are better but just by ½ game. Their PF/PA difference stands at 10.3, which is tops in the league, and they have a perfect 23- 0 home record.

Lately, with Delonte West out, the Cavs have become a one-man team with James taking the lead. In the past, he’s proven to be one of the best go-to guys on the court. And that’s certainly been the case once again this year. But last season, Cleveland was knocked out of the post-season in the first round and the year before, after taking the conference crown, they lost the championship to the San Antonio Spurs as they were swept in four games.

It’s no doubt that James is on a personal quest to bring the Cavaliers their first ever NBA championship. But as has been proven in the past, he can’t do it alone. The professional basketball season runs for a grueling 82 games and the playoff schedule is an entire season unto its own. This league wears players down and out.

James can do a lot to get this team to the Promised Land, but to claim that land, Cleveland will have to start playing team ball soon.
