Since the Last Dance documentary aired, Scottie Pippen has not exactly been the biggest fan of his former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan, taking every chance to throw shots at Jordan.
In an interview on Stacey Kings podcast, Pippen took another shot. He hyped LeBron James and campaigned that he be named the greatest basketball player of all time while also taking a shot at Jordan, calling him a horrible player.
In that podcast, he said: LeBron will be the greatest player statistically to ever play the game. Jordan was a horrible player before I joined the Bulls.
He backed this up detailing Jordans struggles before joining the Chicago Bulls as well by pointing out the bad short Jordan takes in the games.
His harsh words prompted various reactions from fans all over Twitter.
Many took the chance to defend Jordan with his stats, calling Pippens comments delusional.

Others also called Pippen salty for his comments.
And I thought Isiah Thomas was salty. Pippen has surpassed him by miles. https://t.co/yoWSwPuGQL

Some have also pointed out that Pippens reaction may be due to his ex-wife Larisa Pippen is now dating Jordans son Marcus.

LeBron James will be the GREATEST statistical [player] to ever play the game of basketball. [Michael Jordan] was a HORRIBLE player.
Does Scotties ex-wife Larsa Pippien dating Michael Jordans SON Marcus have anything to do with this? pic.twitter.com/YFVUziFXKn
There were also those who reposted some of Pippens comments from a few years ago, calling Hes [Lebron] not what Michael Jordan was as a player.

He did have his supporters though with some saying that Jordan was only as good as he was with the help of his teammates and that Jordan had more help than LeBron ever did.
If you're gonna say "the bulls were that good because of MJ", then explain him going 1-9 in the playoffs before pippen. Why weren't they that good then?

Why weren't they a top team when MJ won the MVP, scoring title, and DPOY?
It's almost like it's a team game
