LeBron James celebrates his 3-pointer against the Phoenix Suns during the second half, first-round playoff series Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in Phoenix. Lakers won 109-102.

LeBron James has a lot of praise for Anthony Davis and has called his teammate “He’s the best defensive player in the league”.

Davis has been up and down offensively throughout the playoffs. Despite that, he has been consistent in his defense and rebounding.

In Los Angeles Lakers’ recent win against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, Davis scored 23 points and 10-of-16 shooting, which marked the first time in the playoffs that he had a back-to-back, scoring at least 20 points.

In addition, he also made 15 rebounds and had an impressive defensive performance.

In addition to being a great blocker, Davis is also a great one-on-one guard in different positions.

With Davis’ help, the Lakers now lead the league in defensive rating in the playoffs.

Davis has been playing in the NBA since 2012. He started with the New Orleans Hornets. He moved to play for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019.

He has been named an NBA All-Star for 8 years straight between 2014 and 2021. In 2017, he was also named the NBA All-Star Game MVP.

In 2020, Davis was also instrumental in helping the Lakers win the NBA Championships in 2020.
