NBA: Killian Hayes and Moe Wagner’s Brawl Leads to Suspension

The NBA suspends Detroit Pistons Killian Hayes for three games and Orlando Magics Moe Wager for two games following their brawl.

Several other players were also suspended following Wednesday nights brawl during the Pistons 121-101 win against the Orlando Magic.

The punishments were handed out on Thursday night.

Pistons guard Hayes received a three-game suspension while Moe Wager was suspended for two games.

Also suspended was Hamidou Diallo of the Pistons. He will not be allowed to play for one game.

Magic players who received suspensions include Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris, Kevon Harris, Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner, Mo Bamba, and Wendell Carter, Jr..

They will serve their suspensions in a staggered manner since the Magic does not have enough players.

Wednesday nights brawl broke out before halftime when Wagner and Hayes chose down a loose ball. Wagner hip-checked Hayes and sent him to the floor. This led to a response from Hayes who jumped back up and punched Wagner in the back of the head.

This led to Wagner falling into Pitstons bench.

The Pistons had a 17-point lead at halftime. They then cruised into a 20-point win afterward, breaking their six-game losing streak.
