Andrew Wiggins has agreed on a four-year contract extension with the Golden State Warrior, sources said on Saturday.

The team has announced that they and Wiggins have agreed to an extension deal that is worth US$109 Million.

Wiggins is still under contract with the Warriors this year for $33.6. The extension deal will keep him in San Francisco for five years in total.

This season, Wiggins has averaged 17.2 points per game. The 27-year-old has reinvigorated his career with the Warriors.

He became an All-Star for the first time this year and he won his first NBA Championship after he transferred to the Warriors in which he played a pivotal role.

The Warriors got Wiggins back in 2020 in a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“Andrew has been a terrific fit for our team since his arrival in the Bay Area almost three years ago,” general manager Bob Myers said.

“His first-ever championship last season earned him the admiration of many around the league and solidified his stature as an impactful two-way player in the NBA. We’re excited that he’ll be a part of our team for the next several years.”

Another reported lock for the Warriors is Jordan Poole who is said to have signed a $140 Million four-year deal.

Poole has been in the news of late following his altercation with Draymond Green.
