Stephen Curry Remains at the Top of the NBA Finals MVP Ladder as Game 6 Looms

After Golden States Game 5 win, it looks like the team is at the cusp of another finals victory

Whether or not Curry is going to pull off a Finals-winning Game 6 is yet to be seen.

Another factor that is looming large for both the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors is Klay Thompson and his history of Game 6 showings and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

One of his best was the 2016 Western Conference Finals where he scored 41 points, including 11 three-pointers.

That obviously became this narrative, said Draymond Green on his podcast. Klay really believes that now. In his head, hes like, Of course, its Game 6. Of course, Im gonna do this. He approaches the game like that. It shows you how powerful the mind is.

Boston, however, has not given up with Jaylen Brown saying, My faith is higher than its ever been before. So, I’m looking forward to Game 6.

Should the Celtics win, the NBA finals will go into a Game 7.

Game 4 and Game 5 were stellar for the Warriors with Curry creating a near-perfect performance in Game 4, and Andrew Wiggins stepping up in Game 5.

Wiggins, who was widely considered a disappointment as the top overall draft pick for 2014, is not at the No.2 spot for MVP, trailing Curry.
