Wiggins was on fire during Mondays game held at Chase Center. He and the team are now just one game away from winning their fourth NBA Finals title in the eighty years. Should they win Game 6, this would also be the seventh championship of all time for the team.
Wiggins scored 26 points in total with Klay Thompson scoring 21 points, including five three-pointers.
Stephen Curry, on the other hand, didn’t have the best night. He was 0 for 9 for three-pointers. It is the first time since November 2018. This is surprising following his stellar performance in Game 4.
Another impressive player was Jordan Poole, who scored a buzzer-beating three-pointer. In total, Poole scored 14 points off the bench.
The Boston Celtics struggled with their turnovers and just when Jayson Tatum looked like he was about to have a breakout game, he floundered in the fourth quarter, in total scoring 27 points.
