The National Basketball Association has announced that the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic will receive a one-game suspension after he shoves Miami Heat player Markieff Morris to the floor.

The forceful shoving has resulted in his response to what he thinks was a very cheap shot done by Morris.

Although the NBA initially gave Morris an initial foul, they have also added a $50,000.00 fine because of his violation. However, Morris will not be facing suspension, so he can still play the next game.

Apart from Morris’ issue, Jimmy Butler will be paying $30,000.00 for escalating an altercation and failure to attend the NBA security interview as part of the review process.

Bally Sports Sun tweeted that Jokic and Morris has an intense fourth quarter that has gotten worse. Jokic shared in a post-game interview that he was not supposed to react that way, however, Morris bumped him and he needs to protect himself from Morris’ dirty play.

For quite some time, Morris stayed on the floor until a stretcher was being sent out for him. Fortunately for Morris, he doesn’t need to be placed in a stretcher and he can still walk on his own after Jokic clobbered him.

Erik Spoelstra also expresses his opinion that everything was a dirty play and uncalled for. Even their brothers entered in the same, threatening each other by sending tweets to each other. Morris replied that no wonder that he was taking a hard foul and he had never pushed or hit someone with his opponent’s back turned.
