Despite a Giannis-less team, the Bucks still dominated the Hawks in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals, scoring a 123-112 victory.T

The team showed that they arent a one-man show, with Lopez, Holiday, Middleton, and the rest of the team using a balanced attack to overcome Atlanta.

In this game, Brook Lopez made the most outstanding performance scoring a season-high of 33 points. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday made 25 points and 13 assists, while Khris Middleton scored 26 points and 13 rebounds. With this games victory, the Bucks earned a 3-2 lead to reach the NBA finals.

If the team did manage to win in Game 6, it would be the first time they’re back in the NBA finals since 1974. This was an incredible win for Milwaukee Bucks, as they fought Game 5 without two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Unfortunately, Giannis suffered a hyperextended knee that put him on the sidelines.

But even in his absence, all four Bucks starters scored away for the team, making more than 20 points to put them in the lead. Even Bobby Portis delivered excellent performance, scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. According to Lopez, all they did was do their best to dominate both ends of the floor.

With the Bucks win, Game 6 is now back in Atlanta on Saturday. Whichever team wins will have the Phoenix Suns as their next match to reach the finals.

This Thursdays Bucks versus Hawks game was a tough one. Both clubs missed their top scorers, but both also did their best game.
