Khris Middleton’s star seemed to shine brightly at Game 6, as he exploded a career-high point of 38 points.
His partner, Giannis Antetokounmpo, also complemented Middleton’s scores with 30 points and 17 rebounds, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to 104-89 victory against the Brooklyn Nets.
The best-of-seven will conclude on Saturday night in Brooklyn’s home court, where the Nets have won their three previous matches in the series. During the first round, the Bucks took advantage of Kyrie Irving’s absence due to his ankle injury and it was undecided of his return.
James Harden’s performance was also improving compared to Games 5 and 6, where he only scored 5 and 16, respectively, as he was also suffering from an injury, too.
However, the Nets were also hard-driven to take the victory, as Kevin Durant flew off with 32 points and James Harden helped the Nets to lead the game with 82-77. Only when Middleton’s foul turned into 3-point free throws on the next possession. Middleton only has 10 rebounds and five assists to match his 32 points. Jrue Holiday also added 21 points for the Bucks.
Game 6 was full of intense moments to remember, and with Game 7 coming up on Saturday night, the Brooklyn Nets have to double their efforts to proceed to the NBA Finals, especially that their Big Three is incomplete. As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they have to be consistent to defeat the Nets in the last game.
